Samsung Galaxy S7 Nougat release news update

turns out the fake news wasn’t fake, but just some unintentional bad translation. We just got wind of the original screenshot in Turkish, on the left side above, which states it clearly that the stable Samsung Nougat release for its Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F, Europe variant) is destined for January 17. While, the one we deemed fake was in fact a translation from Turkish to Spanish, and some bad copy paste done for some reason.

Original article: It’s fair to say that Samsung is already pretty late in releasing its stable Nougat update — heck, it started the Nougat beta program more than a month ago on December 8, and is yet to roll out the public release of Android 7.0 build.

Today, a screenshot was leaked on the web, revealing an announcement from Samsung Turkey that the stable Samsung Nougat release is set of release on January 17 for the Galaxy S7 Edge. We would have believed that, totally, but it turns out that screenshot is a pretty bad Photoshop work.

Look closely — although it’s easily visible — and you’d find that user has taken some screenshot as base and has typed text himself to create a fake screenshot mentioning January 17 release date for Galaxy S7.

But what’s even more pathetic is that the title of the screenshot (kept from original one, perhaps) is in Spanish while the announcement comes from Samsung Turkey. Very odd, right? Very FAKE, right?

Anyway, today’s January 10 already, so the stable Samsung Nougat update should be hitting us anytime now. Even the likes of Huawei P9 and bad-reputed Asus Zenfone 3 Nougat update is out now.

This is apart from the fact that it’s been already long time since LG released G5 Nougat, HTC outed One M9 and HTC 10 Nougat, while Motorola pushed its Android 7.0 builds for Moto Z and Z Force, and Moto G4 and G4 Plus.
